Initial Challenges:
The CMS needed to work for both Wilder Construction Company and Wilder's parent company with a total user base of several hundred employees. It required Blue Sky Projects to balance site complexity and ease-of-use. Site development included six participating managers with differing project requirements that all needed to be addressed. Design Solutions:
Blue Sky Projects enabled step-by-step entry of the information that Wilder needs to track. Links create bridges between related items, and clear navigation helps manage projects.
Sales & Marketing Solutions:
Lead management provides better follow up and follow through; custom logins provide access to company-specific information.
Business Process Improvements:
Easy sharing of information within the company means everyone has the latest information on a client or contact. New CMS site allows easy updates on status throughout the company and the ability to leverage knowledge and contacts of many users.
Technical Solutions:
MySQL database back-end with CSS navigation created for quick and easy changes. Back- and front-end programming is designed for ease of use and owner implemented updates. The integrated reminder system provides weekly or daily ticklers. This project was built fast and under budget with Blue Sky Projects delivering the system just four weeks after approval of design and navigation.
